Well Hello All,
It has been quite a busy time since my posting during the holiday season. A few recaps for those who haven't heard.
I am the assistant coach for the Thompson Valley High School Swim Team, this season we won 4A State by winning the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 400 free relay and individual state champion in the 100 butterfly. We had numerous 2nd, 3rd, and more finishes after sending 15 girls to state in over 25 plus races.
I also coach boy's swim and currently we are fourth in conference and we have 5 guys qualified for state and the returning state diving champion.
Heather is currently working in a Senior Rehabilitation Center... not quite her favorite, but it is good work and they LOVE her there.
I am returning to TVHS next year, teaching Civics, Health, and ESL.
We are VERY excited because we have the opportunity to win conference in volleyball for the first time in school history. I am actually getting girls transferring from other high schools to come play for us. 3 of which are from the Varsity of the high school down the road that prior to this season had never lost to us.
I just finished my Masters of Education in Cross Cultural Teaching... just in the nick of time. I feel awesome about being done and having that degree under my belt. Doesn't help with getting a job, but it sure does make me feel good having finished it.
I am heading down to Southern California in late June early July, then working Loveland Sports Camp teaching basketball and volleyball.
Hopefully Heather and I get out and get a lot of time fishing (love it) and riding the Sea Doo....
